Feature & Follow is a meme hosted by Alison can read and Parajunkee.
It's a great way to increase Blog Followers, gain new Blog Followers and make friends! :)
Q: Confess your blogger sins! Is there anything as a newbie blogger that you've done that as you gained more experience you were like - oops?
A: Honestly, I still feel like a newbie blogger most of the time. As for the 'oops' moments... I guess most of those are typical for all of us, and they do still happen to me (oops for that!), but nothing spectacularly wrong yet. Like - thinking it would be much easier to find the time for reviewing/visiting other blogs/commenting, accepting too many (wrong) books to review, not writing the review immediately, letting some ideas stay 'in progress' for far too long... You know - the usual stuff.
What about you? Do tell!
I agree about finding time, etc. Sometimes just having an hour or two that could be spent visiting blogs, etc. I use that time to write a review instead.

I'd love to spend some time visiting blogs daily, but at the moment it's out of the question. I've learned not to stress over the things I can't do, though. That counts as a lesson, right? :)
DeleteThanks for stopping by! Hope you'll have a wonderful weekend! :)
Oh, I'm definitely still learning about what kinds of books to accept and not accept. My netgalley list is a bit overflowing from poor decisions on my part. The ones that don't work for me are the ones it takes me longer to read!
ReplyDeletegot here via the hop. :) hello!

Agreed. If the book's not working for me, it takes forever to read it. Though, I've stumbled upon many that sounded just like my thing and ended up being a huge miss. Oh, well... :)
DeleteThanks for stopping by. You're followed right back!
Hope you'll have a wonderful weekend! :)
Yes, requesting many books can be tricky! Especially because I tend to buy a lot of books as well...
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my FF post earlier.
Have a fantastic Friday and a wonderful weekend.
I have a book mountain that will probably explode soon! But, I'm getting better lately... sort of. :)
DeleteNice of you to stop by, Lexxie!
Hope you'll have a wonderful weekend! :)
I'm quite happy I have a kindle, if not there wouldn't be room for me and my family in my house - only for the books!
DeleteI think that just goes with most bloggers when they start :) Don't get discouraged, you'll find your footing and pacing, I'm still trying to find mine.
ReplyDeleteHere's my Feature & Follow Friday.
Have a great weekend!
I agree with it taking up way more time to visit other blogs. I was always a bit of a blog stalker, but it's seems like it's so much more time consuming.

I recently started to accept and write reviews on every book I read. But I'm still learning how to do a proper review as most of the ones I write are short and lack details sometimes. Thanks for stopping by my blog, and have a wonderful weekend! :)

I do agree...I think we all make mistakes when we first start and even as we get more experience. Its just part of the package.
ReplyDeleteOld follower - yeah it's definitely tough to sometimes be able to tell up front whether you will enjoy a book before you accept it for review, that always stinks later when you find yourself wishing you hadn't accepted :/

I agree. I also tend to look through so many books in Goodreads while writing my review. I love discovering new books! But it's such a hassle because I realize a couple of hours later that my review is still unfinished and I'm losing time to write it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for following me! Followed you back via GFC :)
